Therapy & Counseling
Where the hearth is banked low and steady.
Trauma focused, relational care held with warmth and skill.
This is the most structured offering at Anam Hearth. This is a place where healing is held with clarity, containment and skilled support. Therapy here is trauma-informed, body-aware and deeply relational. We work with the nervous system, with parts of the self shaped by survival and with the stories that live beneath symptoms. This is not surface work. It is practical work. The kind that helps you function, breathe, choose and live with more steadiness.
Sessions draw from evidence-based trauma therapy, somatic and attachment-focused approaches, parts-oriented work and integrative frameworks. We may work with memory, sensation, breath, language and meaning-making — always collaboratively, and always paced with respect for safety, consent, and integration.
This work is for those navigating trauma, anxiety, overwhelm, neurodivergence, recovery, grief, identity shifts or major life transitions - especially when life has been cracked open by loss, addiction, illness or long seasons of endurance. This work is for those who want depth without destabilization, support without being infantilized and healing that understands that sometimes laughter and humor sit right beside grief.
Here, we tend the fire carefully, so it warms, rather than consumes.
